It is a shirt dress with a twist. Long sleeves form gathers on the wrist once cuffs are buttoned. The shirt dress has a small panel on the bottom left that resembles a folded shirt. This panel acts as a pocket with buttons stitched to it. Collar of this small shirt has a cut through which legs are visible. The sleeves of the small shirt are stitched all the way to the centre back where it has been knotted together.
